Aotearoa

The land of the long white cloud.

Another short trip to the south island in July. How lucky to again be surrounded by tall mountains, snow painted roads and enough sunlight to trickle across the still waters of Wanaka lake. This trip came at a time when i felt myself struggling to pay attention, or sit still in fear of being unproductive. I remembered that 'awe' is one of the most powerful ways to ground yourself in these times, as when we feel small and somewhat insignificant, our problems melt away and we can hold attention once more.  The mountains seemed like the best remedy and it truely was.
